Transformyx Launches RallyPoint at DEMO 09 - 03/02/2009

Palm Desert, CA - DEMO Spring Conference – March 2, 2009
Transformyx, Inc. debuts its new crisis communication product, RallyPoint, at the exclusive DEMO Spring ’09 Conference. RallyPoint stands alone offering the only “true” inbound and outbound messaging solution.

Claude Bethea, President and CEO of Transformyx Inc., witnessed firsthand the problems that catastrophes cause for businesses and communities. Hurricane Katrina taught everyone valuable lessons about the fundamental changes required to have true accountability of human assets and the ability to re-mobilize a workforce that cannot receive broadcast communications. Countless hours were wasted calling numbers that did not work and attempting to salvage workforces. Mr. Bethea realized the need for a comprehensive disaster recovery system and decided to create a tool that would preserve business continuity in the event of an emergency. That tool is RallyPoint.

By combining all modes of standard communication with the web and a touch-tone based phone system, RallyPoint can quickly and accurately provide secure communications and accountability between management, employees, clients, vendors and even the media.

There are 3 main areas RallyPoint serves:

1. Outbound and Inbound Communication Services
2. Employee Accountability
3. Community Recovery

These services are achieved by utilizing state of the art secured communication services and a RallyPoint Crisis Communication Card.

When an organization implements RallyPoint, every member is given a Crisis Communication Card containing member and company information as well as instructions for accessing the system.
Once the member logs into RallyPoint either by phone or internet, he/she will receive a company message followed by a message from his/her direct manager. The system prompts the user to leave information and messaging concerning his/her location, status and any other critical information. The voicemail and data is sent directly to the member’s manager and not to a call center where no action can be taken.

Management teams are give powerful online response and recovery tools including a dynamic management console. The Management console shows only the information concerning the manager’s direct responsibilities, the status associated with each as well as current contact information. The need for call lists and the fear of dated information is eliminated.

Another essential function is the ability for managers to upload, store and share up to 1 GB of critical documents. The document upload section is a great place to store Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans as well as SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) and Insurance policies. RallyPoint eliminates the task of remembering to grab the “Binder” containing business continuity and recovery plans.

RallyPoint’s reporting system is designed to provide management with visual tools to help quickly understand the status of physical and human assets. The system is dynamic and can accommodate any organizational structure or facility layout. Within this section, RallyPoint offers a mapping feature providing a visual representation of exactly where employees and facilities are located around the United States as well as the status associated with each. The view can be filtered by member group, department, facility and even skill set. This is helpful for locating resources closest to the point of deployment. Messages can be sent to individuals and/or groups directly from the reports.

The most important component of RallyPoint is “Trusts”. As explained by Claude Bethea, President and CEO of Transformyx, - “With Trusts, any person registered in the RallyPoint system can communicate with any other person by setting up a Trust. So, what’s the big deal about that? Well, if I own an oil company and my offshore rig was just thrashed by a major hurricane I’m going to want to get in touch with my vendors to get my rig back online. If my vendor was evacuated or if his standard lines of communication are damaged then I’ll have no way of getting in touch with them. If I’m a vendor for multiple oil companies how am I going to keep track of each client’s disaster recovery protocol?

With RallyPoint there is one system, one phone number, one website, one protocol. This allows clients and vendors using RallyPoint to communicate with your organization from remote locations and conduct business transactions before ever going back to their offices”.

Disaster recovery is a sequence of highly orchestrated events that need to work together in the proper order. Reliable communication is the only way to achieve a quick and efficient return to normal business activity. RallyPoint can save companies, but it can save entire communities as well.
