My motto for 2010 is "The Year We Make Contact". Okay, so I stole that from Arthur C. Clarke's novel "Odyssey Two", but my point is that 2010 is the year that "WE" make contact. We will be contacting you in the coming weeks and months in an effort to become that friendly reminder to build and maintain a "Culture of Preparedness" in your organization and your own household. We hope that the information you find here is fun and informative as we head into the 2010 Hurricane season.
These days, everyone is struggling with tighter budgets and expanding needs. Let us know what you are doing to be more efficient so we can pass that information along to the rest of our community. If we all pull our resources together we can become stronger, leaner and more resilient. Here's to a great New Year and a partnership that will build our "Culture of Preparedness". The more you participate the more it will pay you back, the more you prepare the less it will cost.
